My legs wouldn’t rest. When I lie on the bed at night trying to sleep, I keep shaking my legs almost involuntarily. Sometimes it gets so intense that I need to get up and walk a bit before I can finally rest.
In my previous house, the room didn’t have enough sunlight. I had to sit down and write code there, but I’d get restless, and eventually, I would move to other parts of the house. Soon, the house was not enough. So, for six months, I moved around without a place, working out of cafes and hostels. It worked because it cured my restless legs at least a little bit. Now I have a different house with sufficient sunlight. My legs aren’t restless at the moment, but I don’t know what will happen when the Bangalore winter rolls around and it isn’t sunny anymore.
I was with this girl who hated how I always kept moving my legs. I kept shaking them the first time I was with her, and she tried to stop me by holding my knees. But a year later, I was still doing it, and she hated it. I tried to stop, but I couldn’t. My legs had a mind of their own, and they decided to walk away from her.
